Community forum about our state's new civil union bill (SB 1716–the Illinois Religious Freedom Protection and Civil Union Act), presented by Equality Illinois at Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ.
Bernard Cherkasov (Equality Illinois CEO) will discuss what happens next now that the bill has passed the Illinois House and Senate, what the bill entails, and address any questions that YOU might have.
This discussion in Carbondale is one of several that Equality Illinois is holding across the state.
