Q&A: Alliance for Gender and Sexual Diversity (SWIC) Meeting August 28th

Q&A: Alliance for Gender and Sexual Diversity (SWIC)will be meeting for the first time of the fall semester on Tuesday August 28th at the Belleville Campus. ( 4pm Room 2218) Any student at SWIC interested in joining this group can simply show up, or request to join the Facebook group for more details.

Faculty advisor Barb Hunter will be on hand to answer any questions about the upcoming school year.

We will be vieiwng a short dvd entitled Through My Eyes which shares the experiences of young lgbt adult christians and reviewing the new booklet from PFLAG National entitled Be Not Afraid;Straight for Equality in Faith Communities.

Special Guest Kirby Kolby will be performing on Friday Sept 7th for a celebration of the Miss Gay Illinois America Revue.

Join the MGIA family at HAMBURGER MARYS for an amazing Revue show hosted by Krista Versace, Honoring Adria Andrews and special guest Kirby Kolby.

The 8 contestants competing this year for the MGIA title will be on hand prior to the pageant scheduled for Saturday Sept 8th at the Casa Loma Ballroom here in St. Louis.

2012 MGIA Pageant SEPT 8TH (ST. LOUIS)

The 2012 Miss Gay Illinois America Pageant will be held on September 8th at the Casa Loma Ballroom in South St. Louis.

Joining this years pageant will be Adria Andrews, Kirby Kolby, Krista Versace,Sable Sinclair, Tabitha Giselle Sexton, Michelle Mccausland, Mariah Candy, Trixie LaRue and Jodie Santana. A total of 8 contestants have prequalified for this Statewide title.

September 8th

$15 in advance $23 at the door.
